How Facial Comparison Works
The system compares selected facial feature landmarks and visible facial characteristics between two images and produces a visual similarity score based on patterns observed in the provided photos. Results can be affected by photo quality, lighting, angle, facial expression, occlusion, age differences, filters, and editing.
Submitted photos may be reviewed for basic quality (e.g., face visibility/clarity) prior to report release.

Image-based facial comparison does not analyze DNA; it provides a visual similarity score based on the submitted photos and is intended for personal knowledge and screening.
