Prenatal testing is determining whether an alleged father is the true biological father of an unborn child. Choice DNA Laboratory provides Prenatal DNA Paternity Testing by testing amniotic fluids (the fluids which surround the fetus) or CVS (the chorionic villi that make up the placenta). These procedures are completed at a hospital or your local gynecologist office and shipped to our genetic testing lab.

Paternity testing can be performed by obtaining the child's DNA through either an amniocentesis or CVS sample. The most common is the amniocentesis, which is usually ordered by an OB.
